A WEEKLY TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS COMES TO THE TRENTON AREA!
Pope Benedict XVI has allowed and encouraged the Extraordinary Form of Mass
(also known as the Traditional Latin Mass) to be more widely used. According to
the Holy Father, the Ordinary Form of the Mass we see every Sunday and the
Extraordinary Form are both expressions of the same Roman Rite. So, both should
be available to the faithful, especially to those who desire it. In answering
his call, our bishop, David O’Connell, has designated that The Rev. Brian
Patrick Woodrow be given a special apostolate to the Extraordinary Form of the
Mass. A weekly Traditional Latin Mass is now offered at 12:15 pm at the Church
of St. Anthony (626 S. Olden Ave. in Hamilton, NJ). A free luncheon and
opportunities for catechesis are provided after Mass every week. We are also
very excited to announce that instruction will begin on SUNDAY, JANUARY 8, 2012
at 1:30 pm during the luncheon after the Mass in the St. Anthony Church Hall.
Please join us for this wonderful opportunity to learn about the beautiful
Traditional Latin Mass and its role in the future of the Church. No prior
education necessary! All are welcome!
