PARISH HEALTH UPDATE…
Vision Screening - On September 4, 2008, Princeton Healthcare System, the NJ Commission for the Blind and staff from LensCrafters volunteered their time and services to provide the uninsured parishioners of our parish free vision screening exams and eyeglasses. Two ophthalmologists screened a total of 99 parishioners; 82 prescriptions for free eyeglasses were filled. Due to the overwhelming number of eyeglasses prescribed, LensCrafters distributed the workmanship among 4 stores to assist with filling the orders. In addition to the time donated by the staff of the agencies working together, cost of the vision screening exams and eyeglasses totaled approximately $30,000 - all of which was provided to the parishioners of our parish free of charge. In addition to thanking the agencies for the services provided, we also would like to thank all the individuals from the parish who volunteered their time that evening to make this event a tremendous success!

PARISH DONATION
A donation in memory of Richard J. Waseleski was received from Mr. & Mrs. Angelo J. Romanell. Thank you so much for your kindness to our parish.
